Should I do a system Recovery?

I have tried countless times trying to in stall the Microsoft FSX Game. I had it installed once and it worked fine. To make a long story short, I uninstalled it and it just doesn't want to install again. I have tried EVERYTHING. My question here is if I do a system recovery would it download then. I don't want to go through all the trouble and have it not work after a recovery.
