well atm i have a 580w powmax psu and my friend is going to give me his antec 410 watt psu. Should i switch mine with the antec? My psu has 24a to the 12v rail and the antec i think only has something like 15.

recently ive been getting reboots during the middle of games and i think it might be the psu. Its not my tempratures because they are really low. And isnt the antec psu alot better quality wise then my current powmax?

Isn't there a way to test your psu? Do you have a multimeter or something?

A multimeter is a piece of Equiptment and i will tell you how much power is passing through the PSU

powmax 580w w/ 24a @12v

I would stay with the powermax. Normally, I'd say go with the antec, but I think you'll get a little more out of the powermax with a difference of 170W.

Unless yer building for say a Pentium3 class machine or something, go for the PowMax

And they do have 'convienient' PSU Testers
