Okay, sooo...
Question: Should I dualboot Ubuntu and Kubuntu?
I see a lot of applications are "for GNOME" of "optimized for KDE" or something like that. Are there any disadvantages to using KDE apps on GNOME desktop and the other way around? Would it be worth it to have Ubuntu and Kubuntu in dualboot? If I do decide to dualboot, since those are both based on the same kernel, are there any... things I could share between those two installations to save space and make my life easier (like not having to install my wireless drivers on both distros separately)?
...and what about applications that are for neither GNOME nor KDE? What... umm... toolkits(??) do they use, and does it matter what distro I run them on?
