Should I get CSS

well u can run and shoot at the same time but if u do, then u cant hit crap...again probly just cuz i suck...i really hate being a noob:(

HAd that and did not even bother geting past training missions :P. Didnt like it too much

I just have to laugh at the ones saying its the best or one of the best games ever made. Its actually one of the most repetitive games ever made :P (save hostages, kill the ones who are taking them, or set off the bomb, prevent the bomb from being set off), and when you die you have to wait until the round is over. I dont know about you, but I play to play, not to watch and wait. I might be impatient, but one shouldnt have to wait so much if they arent that good, how do you learn by having to wait more then you actually play? With the exception of hiding in a corner for the entire round ;)

If you like CS, get it, its the same repetitive stuff with better graphics. I personaly like games that arent so repetitive, that have no waiting between rounds, and ones that dont try to be real.

Ive played CS a few times over the past week, granted Im not very good but Ive already been called a hacker on a few occasions haha that coming from a community full of hackers
 
Running and shooting and actually hitting someone is pure luck. If they are pretty close then well maybe you might have some skills:P

But running and actually hitting someone in a place that you wanted (AKA the head:rolleyes: ) is pure luck.

I remember (for those of you who have CS:S) I was a T and we went through the garage and there was a gay CT awper where you get into the office throught the window. I had an M4A1 and I just sprayed as I moved across the garage opening and I actually got a headshot... My name from there on was "H@X()r!!" lol... just telling a story of my awesome luck :D

i just did that same thing but i was a CT with a M4A1 i went across wasnt even aiming and got a headshot that was pure luck but thats not the first time ive that i must be lucky.
 
Everyone here saying that its the best game ever or it sucks (including myself) is just an opinion of that specific person and what they enjoy out of a game, it really depends on what you like to see in games.

well those are good stories (ones that ill hopefully be able to encounter) but seriously why does EVERYONE pick either the MA41 and the AK 47 or the snipers...theyre good weapons and all but thats all everyone ever picks...the only reason that i pick it is because i was called a noob for using a shotgun...

By the way, does anyone still here still play condition zero...i like it better then source but i need some people to play with..

i dont always use the M4A1 or the AK 47 and i rarely use the snipers cause i am not good at that. but i do use the shotguns and the SMG's alot when i dont have enough money to buy the M4A1 or the AK47.

lol ya when i dont have money i buy that one shiny pistol..idk what its called but i seem to get very lucky with it

It best not suck, I just ordered the collectors edition in the tin :P which costs abit more than the normal version. And for like the extra £15 I get a T-shirt (that I will never wear), and book thingy (most likely wont read) and "HALF LIFE: SOURCE " what the hell is that?? all I know is it sounded good (knowing my luck you probably get that with normal edition aswell)

Ohh and is the Half Life 2 any good?

Thing that I never liked about online half life stuff is the fact you need to buy your guns, and as I never kill anyone with a knife I never have any money to buy a gun.

One good thing, is I bought a DVD with over 4000 custom maps off ebay so I don't have to download them from the server apparently, which should hopefully improve my loading times alot :D.
