Should I get it?

I need your guys help. Since my computer jsut blew up like 2 days ago I'm gathering up stuff for my new computer. Right now I have: 160 GB HDD, DVD/CD Drive, 2 GB of DDR2-800 Ram, and a p31.

I can get a brand new XFX 7900gt for $49, should I buy it? Yes I know its an old card, but it is still very good.
 
My mates got one and its a pretty good card some things it can't handle but its pretty good speed wise so go for it
 
I have the 9600GSO, its a really good card for the money and handles most games really well. Plus its really quiet :)
 
Thats exactly what I was thinking too lol. But, I went and picked it up yesterday. It works perfectly. To me, its like a 8800gt :D
 
Yep... I thought I could trust Rosewill. It blew up my: Motherboard, CPU, RAM, Video Card, and Short-Circuted my hard drive, and burn't my case. Only thing left was the DVD Drive.
 
I retested all the items in my backup computer :P The only thing that worked was the CD/DVD Drive.
