Should I get Radeon HD7770 or nVidea geForce 560GTX

Hi,

so which gpu would you recommend. I think in my local shop the geForce 560 is slightly cheaper (about 20 bucks) now so I am choosing between Radeon HD7770 or the nVidea geForce 560GTX.

Please help me choose.

GTX 560 is faster http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/536?vs=543 but for the same price the Radeon HD 6870 is faster than the GTX 560.

I'd recommend the HD 6870 if you can get one.

It looks I will have to go with the GeForce 560GTX because it is the cheapest. R6870 is about 50 bucks more expensive in my local store.

I am a little worried about clocks because the GeForce 560GTX O could afford is a little underclocked (Memory 3800MHz and 750MHz Core) while the R7770 is clocked at Memory 5200MHz and Core 1100MHz.

I could get the black edition R7770 which is factory overclocked but the GeForce 560GTX is factory underclocked.

Wont that make a difference?

is the gtx560 an se? they have less cores and lower clocks so they are cheaper, not sure about performance though.

I believe it is... The specification says there are less cores and lower clock compared to regular gtx560

figured, problem being there are no comparisons i see between the 2, but in the end they seem to be about equal but the 7770 i think is a little cheaper normally on newegg, which is probably cheaper than your local store.
