Should I get the X1900 All-in-wonder?

Hey all.
I am considering getting a X1900 All-in-Wonder, for folding and just normal gaming, as well as the tv tuner functions. It would be $215, minus $50 from selling the included Adobe software, for a total of $165. Remember that it is basically a downclocked X1900XT. Would it be a good deal without overclocking? W/o overclocking, it would be equal to a ~7800GT/X1800XT. If I overclocked it to 600/600 (which appears to be fairly easy, from what I hear), what would you say then? Responses, please!

It's on Zipzoomfly.com. While it doesn't say that it has the adobe products, everywhere else I see it it does say it, so I am asking zipzoomfly to define the "great software package" that comes along with it.

I have looked at gpureview, I'd have to overclock the memory a lot to get it to X1900XT specs, but some people have gotten it to around 705/715 or so with putting the stock X1900XT cooler on it, compared to the X1900XT's 675/725.

Personally, I'd go with a separate video card and capture card, just because you can usally get better quality hardware that way. But I've really never used an All in Wonder, so I wouldn't know how good/bad they are.

I'm not concerned about the tv quality or anything like that. Mainly I just want a good graphics card for cheap. If I could get a X1900GT for less than $165, I would. It's just that the All in wonder seems like a good deal after overclocking.

Yes, I agree. However, it still has all of the shader pipelines enabled, unlike the GT. The main detractor is the memory, which is harder to overclock.

I am thinking about prices when the 8800GTX comes out next week. Do you think that it will push down the price of the X1900 All-in-wonder or do you think that the All in wonder will stay about the same because it is the top of the line tv tuner/graphics card?

I doubt the prices will go down, mainly because the x1900AIW isn't competing with the G80 series.

That is what I am thinking...

Here's a restatement of my question:

I am considering buying a X1900 AIW, mainly for folding and gaming. The tv tuner is also a nice addition. However, the reason that I would get it over, say an X1900GT or a X1950 Pro is that it still has all 48 shaders (that what you call them?) instead of the GT and the Pro, which only have 36. Also, it seems that with adequate cooling you can usually overclock it to 600/600 easily, and sometimes to 700/700, from 500/490.

As far as prices are concerned, Zipzoomfly.com has it for $215 shipped. It also comes with Adobe Premeire 2.0 Elements and Adobe Photoshop Elements, which I already have and plan on selling my extra copies for $50, putting the effective price at $165.

I have a few questions:

1. Do you think it is worth $215? (w/o selling software)

2. Do you think it is worth $165? (w/ selling software)

3. Since the 8800GTX is coming out next week, do you think that the prices will go down for the AIW, or not, considering that it is the top-of-the-line TV tuner/Graphics card out there?

prices might drop a little bit.. because though its a tv card and a video card, its still used for playing games... but it'll drop in price a lot less than the other cards.
i do think its worth $215, and if you can sell the software and get it for $165 then definitely do it.
btw 8800gtx can already be bought for $650

but power like that wont be utilized until dx10 and dx10 games.

I think anything $200 or under is a good deal for that card, but I would be concerned that since it's an AIW, it wouldn't OC as well.

You mean $200 with selling or w/o selling.

I have looked into that, and here's one link:

Note that the first overclock is with the stock cooler, that's why the memory wasn't as high

I am considering getting the same thing. Can anybody tell me exactly how much of a quality difference I will see between this and possibly the WinTV-150 when recording off of a VHS tape?

Search "X1900 All in wonder review" and other things similar on google and read all of the reviews :)
