Should i go for a VGA Card?????

Hey all. i am gonna start working on my 1st build in a few days and would like to know a few things:
1) since i am not a hardcore gamer i am planning on buying the Gigabyte GA-965G-DS3. it has Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3000. i just want to know whether this is able to handles the graphics of games like Prince of persia, Fifa 06, NBA 06 etc and if possible where does it stand in terms of measure (eg. is it as gud as 128mb or better)
2) is XFX a gud buy option as compared to ATi, MSI, or Gigabyte? which 1 do you prefer?
3) please recommend a few good PCIe cards that will perfectly handle the above mentioned games and limit the budget to $150 if intel GMA is not up to mark.

XFX is my preference out of the others, but my favourite is sapphire technology because they are easily overclockable. You could get a 7600GS which is much better than intel graphics, and it is around $120 (i think, im from england so i dont know exactly).
 
Are you sure you're a hardcore gamer, cause if you are, then it shouldn't even be a question whether the integrated x3000 is acceptable:P

In terms of measure, it doesn't stand up to much, as it's integrated, it probably sucks. Plus you can' compared video card memory, as a 256mb x1900xt would completely wreck the 7600gs 512mb.

For about $150, a 7600gt would be pretty nice
