Should I go HDMI?

I just noticed that my monitor has an HDMI input. My video card also supports HDMI. Would I see much of an graphics improvement in World Of Warcraft buy using HDMI? If so, is it as easy as simply buying the proper cable to run from my video card to monitor or doest it require additional equipment?

Thank you.

if your using for gaming deffo go for hdmi im nothing off getting a new monitor im running a 9800 gt graphics card on a vgi monitor and there pretty crap atm so im in need off a new one all though my monitor is still pretty expensive and a well rated monitor.

If your card supports it, which it should if it has HDMI, you're better off using DVI as it has a higher resolution rate. HDMI is only 'better' because it also sends audio signals. HDMI is good for televisions and game consoles, but for computers you're better off with using DVI and just using speakers that aren't built into your monitor (if they even have them, very few do these days).
HDMI is a max resolution of 1920x1080, and DVI I believe is 2560x1600, though your card may not support that high of a resolution.
But yes, all you need is the cable to run from your card to your monitor.

DVI and HDMI are the best options, if you are currently using VGA I would switch, however if you are using DVI there really isn't any need to switch at the moment.
