For the business I am buying I will need web, email, file, and app servers, all of which I have in my basement from a previous project. I would like to keep the servers here and use VPN for the office and eventual offices as I intend to move the business in a couple of years and I really prefer that employees don't have physical access to servers anyway. The web and email servers won't be hit hard as this business is an electrical contractor and future divisions will be similar in nature, the app server will most likely be running Tiny ERP which isn't a bandwidth hog. The file server will see mainly 1-4 page word documents, some pdfs, and pics. My question is this: My current bandwidth is 6M down 384k up with an option to go up to 12M down in bursts 2M up in bursts without spending real money for true commercial grade products. Am I going to run into a bottleneck with the web server and VPN for the other services?
Should I host my own webserver?
