Should I keep my current machine or get a new one?

Hi,
I've been a Mac user all my life. My current original-model iMac G5 is almost 5 years old and I'm considering upgrading it (believe it or not) to a Windows-based Dell Vostro 220S. I prefer the Mac OS since cost is a primary factor I'll have to go with the poor man's computer and get a PC since Apple doesn't really make budget computers. I'm as poor as hell because I'm a college student so please take this into consideration. Below are the specs of my system and that of the new one I'm considering in investing in.

MY IMAC G5
1.8GHz PowerPC G5
Mac OS X 10.5.7
1.25GB DDR SDRAM (which can be upgraded to a max of 2GB)
17" integrated monitor (I love all-in-ones)
80GB Hard Drive (can I upgrade my computer's internal hdd?)
DVD+-R/W Drive (which I rarely use - even for CDs)
GeForce FX 5200 Graphics
Expired Applecare
Max resolution is 1440 x 990
Wi-Fi (I use this a lot and drilling holes in walls doesn't enthuse me)
Bluetooth 1 (I use this quite a bit to send files from my phone)
I think I could sell it for 2500HKD

DELL VOSTRO 220S SLIM TOWER
Intel Pentium Processor E5200 (2.5 GHz, 800FSB, 2MB)
Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit (so more than 3GB of RAM won't be recognised)
2GB (1x2GB) Dual-channel 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM (which can be upgraded to 4GB RAM)
A cheap LCD or CRT monitor at least 19"
250GB* 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst™ cache
16X DVD-ROM* Drive
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 HD
1yr NBD service (w/e that means!)
Dunno about the reso
No Wi-Fi
No Bluetooth
Dell's online price in HK is 2599HKD + I'd have to buy a monitor for about 1000HKD (so 3599HKD)

I'm debating whether or not to upgrade or to simply add more RAM to my current computer. I've also been told that the iMac G5 is still a fast computer. Would this Dell be faster than my current computer? I know it's hard to tell but could anyone make a guesstimation?

Please help me.

Yeah if you can upgrade to that Dell, and add a wireless internet card that way its like Wifi I guess. Watch out thought, if you like quietness expect to replace a fan in the slim tower, they tend to burn out fast
