i wondering if i should buy a pentium 3 or upgrade from pentium 2 so which would cost more and im lso wondering what are archives :)
 
What do you want to do with it? If you want to game, get a Pentium 4 and trash your old system. You should only have to spend 1000$!!! Oh how cheap and powerful systems are these days :). and we need to see your system specs to know what Pentium 3 exactly.
 
archives.....idk could be anything, where did you see something saying archives?
P4 would be your best best since P3s arent very good and you can get a slower P4 for cheap anyways. You would have to spend on a mobo too so what is your budget?
 
Or you could go AMD (an arguably better gaming choice). The AMD 3500+ is my favorite processor. Its perfect in every way (imo).

We don't even know what hes using it for yet....
 
I know him, its a REALLY old IBM aptiva, 200 somthing mhz AMD, 32mb RAM etc. Ive told him to just save up and buy parts for a budget ri and I would build it for him, but he wont listen........
