should i replace mother board?

So I am currently running an amd athalon ii x2 240 regor in a motherboard that only supports ddr2 memory. Is it worth replcing the motherboard with one that has ddr3. I'm figuring it will cost 85.00. Will I see any difference and is it worth it?

If you are going to keep the same CPU you will not see any noticeable difference.

Yea I'm going to be upgrading to an I3 or I5 around Christmas anyways. Thanks for the input.

Just keep your current system till you make the platform upgrade. What are you using your system for?

Primarily gaming. I play alot of league of legends but want to start playing d3 and some higher graphic games. I am fixing to upgrade Gpu and psu next week.
