Should i switch over to mac osx?

I currently have Microsoft Windows XP Professional and i was wondering should i buy an Apple laptop (Ibook g3) off ebay i have seen mac alptops and i rely like em i have seen how they have internet explorer and you can buy a heap of programs for them i have tried linux and it is absolutly shit i kno windows xop is gr8 but im ready for a change, im currently in high skool and all my friends hav gone ova to mac and they say it 1000000 times better than xp but is it reliable? wat application extensions is it compatible with? is it laggy? i had seen that it has rely good batt life and you can buy wifi cars for them at a rely dear price im spending $400-$600 on 1, but is it worth the risk? i wanted to buy a dell ultra portable off ebay but i likes the style and the layout, if u can print screen and show me like pics off mac for me that would be gr8, plz emil me [email protected]

Is there a certain reason why you want to switch over to their OS? According to what I've heard, don't switch unless you do a lot of video editing and stuff like that. And I don't think G3's are that nice.

After rereading your post, I'd say stick to Win XP. In your situation, it's rather pointless.
