Should I try WoW?

I tried the game and I really like it and I wanna get it but Im not sure if my comp is up to it.. With the specs in my sig (Desktop) could i run WoW with no problems?
 
as of now, WoW is not very strict on system requirements. I was able to run it with a 2.4ghz p4 with integrated graphics and 512mb RAM. you should be fine running it on medium to high settings.
 
Easily play WoW.
Such a good game, too a point, are you playing with friends?
It's always better.

thanks guys, i thought i could but i wanted to make sure.. yea im tryin to get friends to play but some dont have the money to dish out for the game and membership and some dont have the comp.. it is way easier with more people
 
WoW is a really good game. But very addictive (I recently got out of the addiction to WoW) you should get it but remember not to get very addicted to it! :D
 
Haha, your computer can run it no problem at the highest settings. Good game, yadda yadda, friends make it even more fun. The real fun is to get totally addicted and then trying to get yourself off..I've done it, so it can be done.

I played over 3000 hours of WoW but I'm totally bored of it now and I realised that it's just a waste of time. The game is addictive because you want to level up and get better gear and so on.

Your computer can easily run WoW.

I used to run WoW at 1152 x 864 with a 7600 GT and amd 3500+ single core @ 2.2 Ghz. I had about 70 FPS normally but dropped to 10-20 in the biggest city.

When I upgraded I had no fps problems at nearly max settings at 1280 x 1024

i went ahead and bought the battlechest thing at walmart that comes with the original and BC expansion.. i put in the key online and it downloaded it instead of installing from the disk, it took forever but its done.. Im startin to get addicted but thats ok since i have a month off for xmas break so i can just chill n play lol.. i just like to go out and kill stuff to see if i can get somethin uncommon or rare and then sell it at the auction, thats pretty much why i play lol

Wish I could say that...I played more like 12000 hours total since I was playing since beta....game is horribly boring now...same thing every xpac as well...glad I didn't get Lich King from what I can tell its turning into a "grind" game like Rohan.
Least you can lvl from 70 to 80 in 48 hours....issue is gotta farm everything else slowly :/

I got the sword of 1000 truths in the game :D

I don't find the game that addictive, I play a lot but that's because my friends are playing. If I don't get on on a particular day or don't have maxed professions or something I don't really care. It's just fun going to Naxx or something with my friends and killing something that we are just barely able to kill.
 
It is pretty fun, but are you willing to give up many many hours to level up, then finally reach end game to have fun? I think I'm going to move on to Darkfall Online. Don't get me wrong I love WoW, and I will probably still play it. It just angers me that I have to do that...
