As the title states.

Motherboard: EvGA 780i SLI
CPU: Quad Core Extreme QX6850
Video Card: GTX 295
RAM: 800mhz DDR2 [8GB]
Hard drives: 2 7200RPM 1 is 500gb other is 300gb

I currently play battlefield 3 the most and i cant run it on the max settings :(

I have the funds available for a new build but i want to know if it is neccesary?

If all i need is a GPU, im thinking of

EvGA GTX 560 Ti 2Win.

It seems better than a 590 and price wise is also better.

gpu all the way, but the 560ti 2win is basically a 590 but 560ti cores instead of i think it uses 570's, but sli and crossfire can have issues in some games as the games aren't always too good at using multiple cores. Also you'll need a 750 watt psu or more, 700 or 650 might work though, just not going to be as good.

I see. I was thinking of going with 2 570's. Should I? And i have a 1000w watt psu so im fine there.

Edit: Actually Scratch that. I want to know if with the 560 ti2win ill be able to play bf3 on max everything?

I dont even understand that. The 590 is two 580 GPUs with slower core and shader clocks and the 560Ti 2Win is two 560Ti GPUs with slightly faster core and shaders clocks

Yes, you would be fine with a 560Ti 2Win. But it would be cheaper to run two 560Ti in SLI.
