Hi everyone,
Lately I have been looking to upgrade my computer, and i only want to spend a maximum of AU$2700 including a monitor, speakers ect. And i want something along the lines of this combination:
]
(coming to AU$2698 or US$2240 or £1132 (Details on each product can be found at the site i chose them from (www.itestate.com.au))
However, lately i have read that a number of new computer components are coming out, such as:
Of course all of these products will push down the price of most of the products on the current market, and will obviously be more technologically advanced (especially the Nvidia G90, meant to be twice as 'powerful' as the current top of the line Nvidia available now), but the big question is, is it worth waiting for all this?
Just like all technology, faster and more advanced technology comes out within a month that makes you one month old top priced hardware look ancient, but surely these upgrades are worth waiting for?

- DDR3 RAM (already out)
- Motherboards supporting DDR3 RAM by Samsung (in production)
- Nvidia G90 (or 8900?) (to be released Q4 2007)
- AMD releasing the 'Barcelona' quad core (August September 2007)
