i've just won a new a8n32-sli deluxe motherboard on ebay. i want to finally make that jump to pci-e from agp. right now i have an ati radeon x800xt platinum edition. with overdrive on, i get 527mhz core and 560mhz (1120mhz effective) memory speed. it's a pretty fast card as far as agp goes (i think there's only like 2 or 3 cards that are faster).
anyway, the board is gonna sit here until tax return time, when i buy a new video card. i'm thinking 8800gtx, but i won't be getting vista for a while, so dx10 will not be part of the equation. should i get that card, or 2 7900's and sli them (or 7950's)?
