Shut off "Work Offline"

I leave my desktop on at all times. It uses the internet via cable, not WiFi. 3 days, or so ago, it started this behavior, when not used for a couple of hours it disconnects from the internet. When I try to reconnect it only gives me the option of dial-up or WiFi. It also checks "Work Offline" by itself. I have to un-check "Work Offline" and reboot to get an internet connection again. What gives?

it could be ur internet provider screwing up, although nah, because u get the internet again when u restart. ummmmmmm....maybe some weird setting that logs u off the internet after idle for so long? humm... do u always have to restart to get the internet back? do u ever wait fora minute or just restart right away? is it possible that ur computer gets logged off the internet when its on standby and then takes a minute to connect to the internet again? idk man
