Shutting down computer problem

I have a problem shutting down my computer. When i try to shut it down when using it for a while it dosent respond but dosent feeze. The option of restarting standby and shutdown do not appear and i need to close the computer from the power button. my computer specifics are:

Try switching to the classc interface, does that provide a shutdown option?

well i would try checking if the wire for the shutdown button is properly connected. Or checking in ur windows what you have set for when you press the off button(you can disable the button).
