shutting off

Hi I have a computer and when i turn it on there is no image and the computer turns it self off after 2 minutes

I have put new memory in and a new graphics card but it is still the same and the monitor is in full working order as i have tested it

does any1 know what this could be

most likely a motherboard problem. Does the computer beep (post)? Have you done anything to it recently, like in the bios?
