shuttles or towers/desktops

me and my mate are arguing again and he says shuttles are way better than desktops/towers, i said maybe if you havnt got any space but what about if you want to make room for expansion like 3 h/d's and 2 cd/dvd drives also you need to buy differnt hardware for shuttles because there so small? he says mosty pep have shuttles so im going to make a poll

shuttles usually have MicroATX motherboards iisc... now, i dont have anything against them, buuuut, they have few PCI slots usually,.
also... i wouldnt dare to squeese my pc into a shuttle case.. with my current (Midi) tower its already running hot enough.. thats why ill have a full tower this weekend

shuttle can move easily like i can take it to a friend house without breaking a sweat.

without overclocking or any overkill cooling you still can have a good pc.

get a good psu, good cpu, sound and video card and a decent hardrive and its good to go.

i don't care if it's big and bulky my computer has a full atx board and it's cause is like a tank i love it and don't mind lugging it around because i know it's sturdy, it is expandable, and i got a clear side pannel with some cool lights. I personally don't like shuttles because in my situation i like to install lots of old parts instead of a few expensive parts, mostly hard drives and cd drives in this case. My file server has 3 hard drives in it, something that wouldn't fit too well in a shuttle.

ive got a mid tower and love it. I understand getting a shuttle if you need to be able to take it with u. But with overheating and also lack of expandability its not for me. I like a cool (like cold) case with many options for upgrades and such

Midi & full, I do have some micros as well but they are mostly junk.
