Sign in to Office 365 on Windows Phone 8.1

I have two Lumia 1020 Smartphones. I am unable to sign in to Office 365 on either of them now although I could when both were new.(one new Jan 2014, the other new Sept 2014) In fact the problem has arisen within the last month.

I have got bogged down with so called Help from Microsoft and need some plain language assistance.

Has anyone had this experience and if so how was it fixed.

What's your specific problem? How are you trying to log into Office 365?

I am going to Office 365 hub, and signing in with the Microsoft/Hotmail email address and password.
Response to this is "Something's wrong - could not complete the task"
I have failed in my efforts to find what it is that's wrong
 
So is this a corporate or individual account? If it's a corporate account, contact your IT administrator. If it's individual, contact Microsoft.
