if i use the restore CD that came with my computer....will i lose my OS also??? and will it make my computer faster cause its slow and not cooperating anymore

no. the os will stay on ur computer
actually i am not 100% sure
i have used the restore cd with my computer plenty of times and the os manages to be there every time. so im pretty sure yours will be fine.

It depends how you use the restore CD. You can do a repair or you can do a clean install (deleting everything). A clean install normally will make your PC faster as it installs a fresh copy of Windows, BUT, it's not the easiest process and requires you to back up ALL your data and reinstall EVERYTHING (apps, drivers, etc).
Maybe you should try a system restore first. Start, Program, Accessories, system tools.

ive done a system restore and i havent gone back really far...but i h vae done one

Don't look to restores or clean installs, unless you caught alotta crap, to make your PC faster. It is all in the hardware.

yea i cleaned most of it out now....i used CCleaner and got rid of over 2GBs of crap so its alittle better now

CCleaner is pretty good, you don't have to use it often . I use it for some clients PCs, they catch so much garbage
