Simple Tech external Pocket Drive

Hello, thanks in advance for the help. I plan on buying a pocket drive for the purpose of backing up my files and folders. My question, each time I back up, does the drive rewrite over what I already have or does it just add the new files and folders to it? Also, Simpletech is 2/3 the price of an HP Pocket Media drive. I just wont be able to insert it into my pc.

depending on the space. If you have enough, it should create a new folder for it, or it will ask you if you want to overwrite. If you dont have space on the pocket hd then it will prompt to over write.

It will work just like the hard drive in your computer. You will be able to write whatever data you want, and choose whether or not you want to delete stuff. Naturally if it is full then you will have to overwrite or delete.
