I have a wall mounted monitor that has various input ports. It’s not smart in any way just a dumb monitor. There is a WiFi router within range but the monitor has no WiFi .
Quite simply I would like to display a specific URL on the monitor, is there a type of usb stick that I could program, plug into the monitor that would then connect to the WiFi and display the webpage ?

Sounds straightford but really not sure if it’s possible
Many thanks for any ideas

A nettop could work out alright. If not, buy a smart TV. But I have read those smart TVs have vulnerabilities.

For the OP's intended purpose, who cares about reviews? He wants to display a single webpage.

Do you have this same attitude when you buy a computer or other hardware?

Yeah, who cares whether it performs well or not.
There are times (like this instance) when utility is more important than performance. Not everything is a "race" where you absolutely have to have the "best".
