Sims 2 pc

:mad:Right i have installed sims 2 and all its expansion packs before on my laptop and it works fine, But i had to downgrade to XP from Windows Vista because Sims 2 wasnt compatiable with Vista, When i install sims 2 it loads up but just after the ''EA GAMES CHALLENGE EVERTYHING SHOOM'' and error comes up saying ''The programe has crashed it will now terminate something like that

My laptop specs are :

Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service pack 2
Genuine Intel(R) CPU
T2080 @ 1.73GHz
795 MHz, 1.93 GB of RAM
Please help :D all comments appreciated :mad:
 
System requirements:
The minimum system requirements for The Sims 2 are as follows:

* 800 MHz processor
* 256 MB RAM
* Windows(R) XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000 Operating System.
* At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space
* A T&L-capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM.

Supported video cards:

ATI Radeon(TM) series (7000 or better)

* VE series (see note below)
* 7000, 7200, 7500
* 8500, All-In-Wonder 8500
* 9000, 9200, 9500, 9600, 9700, 9800
