single channel to dual channel

this is my motherboard and I'm trying to figure out how to get it into dual channel memory mode since its only running in single channel memory mode

Both slots have to be filled in order to run dual channel.

Just put another stick of RAM in the other bay.

As above, channeling is a physical property of the controller. You'll have to have another stick in order to fill that second channel with usable memory.
