all u need is a simple photoshop editor....and resize the image.

whats the file format? is it .bmp?

if its a bmp, you can simple open it in paint, then save it as a JPG, this should significantly reduce the size.

You can resize your pictures with MS Paint!

if its soo big, try resizing it into something smaller and suitable so when you view t 100%, its the right size that you want. you will probably need an image editor (recommended) or if its bmp, you can use MS Paint and save it as jpeg or gif or the other formats it allows.. you should see a slight decrease in image quality tho..
