If I get a Skype account is it true that I can never get rid of it or change the Skype name I pick?

And if I have a Skype account can I lookup other people on Skype or how do I find people on Skype to talk to?

And sould I be looking at another program other then Skype?

I am new to this and need some help?

You can add people on Skype by clicking the Add a Contact button below your contacts list.

You could also ask your questions on the Skype forums though.

I use msn (Windows Live messenger) more than Skype, both programs can basically do the same thing.
