try going into properties of Skyrim in Steam (just right click on skyrim in steam), goto the local files tab and click verify integrity of game cache, itll do a little scan maybe download some stuff but its worked for a few steam games that have buggered up for me.

I have an idea...start the game and save it...exit. DO NOT go back into the game afterwards.

go to Documents > My Games > Skyrim > Saves and find your save file (it'll say something like "Save 1 - Prisoner Skyrim 00.07.23.ess").
Attach that to your post (you'll probably have to click the "Go Advanced" button to get the attach option. I'll see if I can't play it on my PC.
Also, could you post the exact error message you get when it tells you the file is corrupt? Thanks!

Okies! I'll screenshot the error message and make a new save to attach this afternoon. Unfortunately I am at work at the moment so can't right now =(

Unless someone wants to cover me at work for the rest of the day? ;D
