sleep not working since new mouse

i got a new mouse, wireless, and my when my computer is in sleep, I put my mouse on charge and it wakes up. does anyone know how to fix this?
 
Wireless mice are like that, i think in power options you need to set the mouse so that it won't wake up the computer. but then you will have to use the keyboard/power button to wake it up
 
I usually don't have any problems with my current wireless mouse, but some of my older ones have been like that. Can the mouse be turned off? Try turning it off just as the computer goes to suspend.

Also, is the charger connected to the computer? Perhaps it either sends a signal to the computer or loses it causing it to come out of suspend. I know mine will if I say pull a flash drive out or something.
