Ok well from all my different Ideas, this might just be my Smartest one (saving me money)

Ok well at first i was gonna buy a P35 or better mobo with one GPU (8800GTS or 9800GX2)

But ive had a change of heart.

I need an SLI mobo, that has
:) Two PCI 2.0 slots (to run 2 GPU's full speed)
:) at least a FSB of 1333 (seeing as i want core 2 Quad Q9450)

Does the 750i have two PCI 2.0 slots? or just one?
If it has 2, ill get the 750i, but if not, ill get the 780i

Thanks guys

bit expensive. And by the time, i need to upgreade, there will be a new processor with a new nm process (30's?). I just want a Q9450!

So there is no need for the 1600FSB as a new sized processor will come out.

All i need is 2 PCI 2.0 slots and new quad support.

Is that listed mobo good?

I know its a dumb question, but can an SLI mobo use an ATI card?

Yeah but the 45nm processors just came out and are still ridiculously expensive. Imagine the cost to the public for an even newer chipset? And the 790i ultra sli supports DDR3 and triple SLI, both of which are components that you will need to upgrade before you get to upgrading beyond a 45nm processor.

Yeah but when are DDR 3 prices gonna drop?

I mean a single ATI card.

Cause i wll get the mobo and then the cards if it is possible
if not ill get the one 8800GTX and then wait to get the other one and mobo.

By the way is twintech a good make (for a GPU)

I want to know, can i use 1066Mhz Ram on this (also the new 45nm yorkfields, cause i read on a site that you cant?!?!?!?!)

Cause i read the eVGA site, it said that, but another site says it only has up to 800Mhz, and another says up to 1200 (thats 1066 included)?

cool.

Now i got a new list

I need an SLI mobo that has:
1333FSB or more (they do support the older 800Mhz one dont they?)
2 PCI 2.0 Slots
DDR2 ram with support of 533/667/800/1066/1200

At the cheapest price

Can anyone help me?

In a previous biuld right before i had the one in my sig i had a phenom with a 2.0 board. now that i have my p35 with a e8400 the 8800 is actually better. reguardless of the 2.0 difference.

Ok its been rephrased.

I need an SLI mobo that has:

1333FSB or more (they do support the older 800Mhz one dont they?)
2 PCIx16 or 2.0 Slots (to run as fast as possible)
DDR2 ram with support of 533/667/800/1066/1200

At the cheapest price

Can anyone help me?
