Id go for 1 higer end card....there still isnt many games that take advantage of SLI or crossfire.

not enough games that would make me want to go SLI/CF anyway.

Price/Performance, a single card is typically better. SLI in my opinion is only good for super-high-end gaming or perhaps upgrading an old computer, if an identical card can be found for very cheap.

If I had to choose, I would say single card, as its much more reliable, especially if you have a dual monitor setup.

Single card. Less power consumption and heat, and most gomes don't utilize sli/cf yet. save for a few. I think crysis supports sli but why would you pay ~$400 to play a $30 game?
