Correct me if I'm wrong here. But I don't believe you can run SLI on Intel chipsets. To run SLI I'm pretty sure you have to have an Nvidia chipset. You could however run two of these and it'd scream..

Well if you could afford a 4870 I'd get that now. That way down the road you can just pop another 4870 in, that's what I did. I've still got an open slot for an additional 4870 later on when it's needed.

it depends a lot on the resolution you are looking to play at. if you are going to by a single card i would go with a hd 4870

you cant run SLI. Current intel boards are Crossfire (but may be SLI in the near future)
