Ok so my new power supply and motherboard are both SLI ready. Im not a huge PC gamer so I could care less about having a top notch video card. I just have something that will get me by. My new processor is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5600+. So if I just want a fast computer and the ability to play PC games every once in awhile should I even use the SLI Power Plug from my power supply to my motherboard or is it ok to just use the regular 8-pin 12v power supply to motherboard connection?
so you use the 24-pin and the 8-pin connectors to the motherboard, and the (6-pin) pci-e connectors go into the grfic's cards (well, the power hungry ones 
)
