SLI question

Any will do, and depending on when you got your first GT, it'll be hard to match it.

I got my first GT December of 2007, and decided to SLI it a few months ago, and got the exact same model number, and the PCB board color and layout is different, so.

Any 8800GT will work. I'm not exactly sure how the clocks will work though.
Some cards come 'factory-overclocked', but i think it will just clock itself down to the lower clock.

you need another 8800GT (any) but its nice to keep the same manufacturer.

You also need an SLI motherboard.... (ive heard about people try to SLI on an Intel motherboard...)

as long as it's the same gpu, there are different ones. they match them up by memory size so just make sure it has the same type of memory.

and like computer freak said you need a SLI enabled motherboard. that means 2x pci-e x16 slots and a northbridge that supports SLI, not all dual pci-e x16 motherboards support SLI.
