SLi with different cards.

I was curious as to what cards will interchange with one another in the 8800 series hooked up in sli will the gts 320 and 640 sli together will the gt 256 and the 512 sli with each other and will the higher memory card be dominant or vise versa. and will a gt and a gts sli together. Has anybody tried this?

To SLI you need the exact same card, Because each card has different drivers, Even if they have a difference 256Mb of Memory.

No they don't if you go to drivers for vista all the 8800 have the same driver to download. Except for the gt and it uses the 169 instead of 167

SLI, you have to use the exact same card. Crossfire, you can mix but will downclock the faster card to match the slower one. i beleive.
