Looking at setting up SLi on my pc.

Ive currently got a EVGA gtx460 1gb EE Superclocked but was looking at getting another. Do i need to buy the same graphics card for an SLi set up.

I ask because the EVGA gtx460 1gb EE FTW version is only a few more pounds extra.

Im going down the SLi on the 460 as i cant afford a GTX580 and ive heard this setup would come close to a GTX580 single card?

Also is my PSU ok. ive got a Corsair 650TX

AMD X4 960T
4GB XMS3 DDR3
1TB Spinpoint HDD
1xevga gtx460 1gb ee
Asus M5A99X EVO AM3+ motherboard

You will not need the exact same card but it would be best if it were. If you end up using a slower clocked card the current one that you have will down clock to the lowest settings. At a minimum match the 1gb 256 bit specs that your current card has.

A GTX 460 SLI will be closer to a GTX 570 than a 580. No problem really, Both are solid performing cards.
