Slideshow -> DVD

Hey guys,

I need to make a slide show for a graduation buddy. I want it to have pictures and music.

What would you recommend as the best way to get this done, so that it is able to be burnt to a disc (or DVD) and then played in a DVD player.

Does PowerPoint allow for this to be done? or Do I need to download some sort of 3rd party software, if so, any suggestions?

If you have XP, use Windows Movie Maker. It works great and will do what you want. That program is already on your pc. I used it to do the same thing.
