There are a few "unknowns" meaning HT simply doesn't recognise some of the registry values seen. Nothing malicious was found. There are a number things like a large number of necessary startup items seen after installing a large number of programs, the primary hard drive has somehow become heavily fragmented over a period of time, and the system registry could use a good cleaning a lengthy period of time due to the amount of added and removed programs were entries made in the system registry are no longer needed.

HiJack This only shows problems found with the Internet Explorer and any suspicious new startups found in the system registry. The items here all appear to be normal entries made through the normal installation of softwares. If you are not seeing a hardware problem like memory faults or something overheating to some degree the reduction of items loading along with Windows and running the defragmentation tool included in Windows if you don't have Diskkeeper are the two initial steps to take.

To reduce the number of unnecessary startup programs you would use the msconfig command at the Run prompt to open up the utility. Go to the last tab on the right to open the startup group. Note that some items are often used by video and sound card softwares. By unchecking and applying anything you know is not needed when first starting the system that frees up additional system memory for other processes.

since it looks like he's running files from two drives it might of been caused by the power saving feature when the other drive was not used for awhile and it needs to start spinning again whenver you need to access it.

Either two drives or two partitions each having a copy of Windows for a dual boot. of two different versions? We'll have to wait until kade replies since no sig is shown. Most likely a reduction of startups and some general cleanup of the system registry and a use of CCLeaner or something similar to clean off unwanted clutter taking up drive space would help.

ive tried deleteing registry and lowering amount of startup programs no change also my new hardrive had nothing on it when i borght it i just put game music and videos and some programs on it as my built in one has low amount my new one is also built in.

Diskkeeper is a good one to have around since it can often save a large amount of time defragging a drive since it will maintain a drive on a regular basis. Another tool that works good cleans up any loose items in the system registry itself. You can download RegCleaner free at http://www.majorgeeks.com/RegCleaner_d460.html

After a good period of time you'll see garbage pile up in there. Even after a clean install of Windows and all softwares on a new drive unattached entries were found and removed. That was a good one to see!

You mentioned the lack of disk space on the first drive which points at one reason to see a system slowdown. Since you are using the new drive for storage you could also start backing up files on the OS drive there. If you don't have enough for the page file used by Windows for virtual memory that will see a system slowdown fast. The other methods were to insure Windows was running good.

You said your disk space was low. Windows needs a certain amount of room to create a page file. Usually upto 2gb of drive space has to be available for Windows to use space on the drive when there's not enough installed memory to perform certain tasks.

Since you have a second hard drive installed you can copy files off of the drive with Windows installed on it and then delete those from the boot drive. That will help free up space. You can also use free tools like CCleaner to remove useless files that you don't even know are on the drive.

I run AVG here all of the time. Some will argue about Avast or others but I've seen AVG point out viruses or malwares as soon as they were discovered. It's sertainly one of the better ones. But none of them will stop everything. There's always some new thing coming out that may need a special remover. On one instance with AVG disabled from loading with Windows it still flashed an alert when a trojan was copied to the drive. So it does have it's worth.
