This is a nasty process! You should fix it and try to delete it manually!
Realtek AC97 Audio - Event Monitor. Sypware file used surreptitiously monitor one's actions. It is not a sinister one, like remote control programs, but is being used by Realtek to gather data about customers.

I tried to get rid of the first file manually but it wouldnt let me delete it.. How do I do it?

Boot up in safe mode (F8 when booting PC) then go into C:\WINDOWS\ and delete ALCXMNTR.EXE

It might be a hidden file.

Also have a look in the registry Go to Start> Run and type in regedit then hit enter.
Then go though the directories...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run,

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run,

In the RUN directories there should be summin named ALCXMNTR.EXE, delete and then reboot.
