Slow computer

Just recently my computer started slowing down a lot and I need something free that will scan and remove errors from my computer and something to check for viruses. It's taking my computer over 10 minutes to fully load and every time I start itunes a big black image show for a split second. I can't even listen to music without it turning into slowed-down choppy robot lingo.

Please, I need help help help!

Edit: I've also used registry patrol to check and it told me I have 240 some errors but I'd have to buy it.

Why not to check HiJackThis tool? Maybe there are some processes running on your pc, that should be disabled and removed.

CCleaner is ok. I would also suggest to download AVG or Avast antivirus, as well as Spybot Search and Destroy antispyware. All are free, so you will not spend a cent and your machine will be clean..
