Slow internet

I am experiencing slow speeds at random

Tests done at speedtest.net site..
I pay for a 6 mb's

I had tech come down and told me it was a loop and he had fixed it...

Cant it be something on my computer?? Modem???

How can I test my line other than with speedtest...

How can I monitor my online bandwidth... I only have 1 computer... the modem has the wifi disabled..

What does the speedtest say your getting? Have you ran Ccleaner lately to delete all your old temp files? You could have a corrupt lan driver bad modem or cable.

That's not very good speed there. Borrow a laptop or computer from someone and test the speed again to see if its different. If its about the same then you have a bad line or modem.
