slow internet....

I have cable connection on my computer but it is acting really strange lately....
first of all, it takes about 10 seconds for my browser to "connect/find/waiting" the website...and then it loads the page normally....
I use IE, firefox, and avant...and this problem occurs on all of the browsers and almost all of the websites.....

So my cable connection feel likes dial-up...I ran the speed test thing on Cnet, and it reported that my computer's speed was 3 Mbps...but I sure doesnt feel that way.....

Please help...thanks a lot....

you might have spyware that is nagging all your bandwith... have you tried running your spyware program seeing if it detected anything? its good if u run your anti-virus also

yeah...i ran ad-ware and it detected a few tracking cookies but that doesnt seem to help at all...
I have norton anti-virus on my computer.....

I suggest running Search & Destroy also! That and AdAware make a good combo!

or it can be your isp is doing maintenance.
