I'm new here... I hope someone can give me a hint or two...
I have two PC running on Win7 (one ultimate and one home). On the desktop running W7 Ultimate i set up a folder for share, to which i intend to drop a large amount of files from my laptop PC running w7 home.
I followed every step to share the folder correctly and the sharing works, but the speed is terribly slow... it seems somehow limited as it is on a constant 900 kbps. I need to transfer 60Gb at least... the file transfer indicates it will take 14 hours to transfer the first 20Gb.
Question:
Is there a speed limit for W7 file sharing over home wi-fi network?
Or what else can cause such slow speed?
