Slow start up with xp

Hi


I have a problem when i turn on my pc it shows the start up screen (below)

for around 2 minutes. It normally is only on for about 5 seconds. i have gone on to the recovery console and done a fixboot which it says it has done (this has worked before) but it isnt working and i really dont know what to do.

If anyone could help i would be extremely greatful.

so it just stays at this screen ?
if so press TAB to see POST details so you know what's wrong
it might be something failure
 
yeah it stays at this screen for about 2 minutes but then boots up normal and works fine once loaded. it always says press tab even when working properly
 
you should see the something like the Processor speed and RAM
and IDE drives......etc
do you get any messages that something is failure ?
 
no everything is fine and running normal. i really dont get it it has happened before but after doing a fixboot it was fine but this time its not working
