There's no fixes at present. Vista takes a little time to get used to. You will note the check marks are now seen when you go to highlight files you want to move or copy and paste. Vista also favors even amounts of memory like 2gb over the 1.5gb seen in your sig. The new version of Windows seems to have a slightly different way of doing things for sure. For now you will have to kind of bear with it. Hopefully you are dual booting?
I've pretty much gotten Vista figured out by now(still learning little tidbits here and there). I love everything else about Vista, except for this slow transfer issue. Oh well, it's not too hard to live with

I know my odd memory configuration doesn't really help anything, I'm planning on swapping out my 2 256mb's for 2 512mb's to get an even 2 GB.
And yes, I am dual booting, but I NEVER boot into XP, because I can't stand it anymore![]()
