whoa! thats a great price for a system like that, the RAM price seems great, are most 512mb ram sticks that cheap in the US?

the price really ranges on 512 sticks from 67 (lowest i seen) to well over 150.
btw i got these prices from www.newegg.com (think they ship worldwide THINK)

You could do better with ASUS A7V8X-X or A7N8X-X :) (for not much more)

It might be worth getting a 9600Pro and upping everything else :) In fact, i think Sempron3100 isnt outside of that budget range :)

would you consider mobile? i mean its pretty cheap, runs cooler than the desktop version, and still has 512kbL2 cache. i can't really see a reason not to get it.

Try this URL and if you could give a little time you can get a free desktop.

http://tinyurl.com/6n6k3.

It has picture proof of real people getting their free desktops, free IPODs, etc

who funds this? not dell, it's a personal web page hosted by bellsouth. there is no legal notice, very big holes.
