Small Display?

I picked up a Picture Frame viewer at a thrift shop. It still works fine and the display is excellent.
My question is...

With the viewer you can watch videos or pictures at a slide show and more.

It has a USB input and a mini usb input.. Is there a way I can use this device as a computer display?

At my home I have a security system with several cameras around the place. I have the main video display behind my desk, with 4 computer monitors on my desk. The security monitor is behind me.

I would like to be able to split the video signal and use the small screen picture viewer on my desk.

Does anyone know if the picture frame viewer can be used as a monitor?

It can originally from Brookstone.

Specific model numbers help here.

Right now I'd most likely say no, as digital picture frames are usually just capable of displaying JPEG files (and since you said movies, I'd imagine AVI/MOV/MPG files).

Is there a adapter made that I can connect to a monitor cable splitter that would send the video signal to the picture frame viewer thru and into the usb in port?

I would like to use the small display for my surveillance camera setup

The USB cable is for adding JPG's to the integrated memory or SD card, it's not for sending video directly through the USB to the display.
